This is a 4 class series tailored to ladies that are new to pistol shooting and want to get in depth on safety, the parts of a pistol, how to clean and maintain your pistol and learn the fundamentals of shooting in a safe controlled environment.

The 4 classes meet the requirements for a Colorado Concealed Carry Permit. You will also get the USCCA Women’s Handgun & Self Defense Fundamentals Book as part of the 4 class series. Valued at $35

Total Classroom - 11 hours / Range - 3 hrs

Class 1 - Firearms Safety, Handgun Anatomy & Maintenance - 4 hrs
In this class we will learn about firearm safety. We will cover the universal safety rules, storage and security, and record keeping. We will also go over the parts of different types of handguns and how to clean and maintain them.

Class 2 - Shooting fundamentals - Dry Fire - 4 hrs
In this class we will learn the fundamentals of pistol shooting. We will cover stance, grip, sight alignment, target acquisition, trigger control and shot follow through. We will do this in the classroom using unloaded guns and dummy rounds. We will also learn how to load and unload your pistol.

Class 3 - Shooting fundamentals - Live Fire - 2 hrs
In this class we will take the fundamentals of pistol shooting that we learned in the classroom and apply them on the range with live ammo. We will also cover how to carry your gun into and out of the range and range etiquette.

Class 4 - CCW Curriculum - 4 hrs
In this class we will go over situational awareness, avoidance, handling violent encounters and what to do afterwards. We will also discuss concealed carry insurance options and why it’s important to consider.
